Athens/ Volos, 25-11-2008. RSEnergy participated in an International Environmental Dialogue sponsored by the Danish Government and organized by the Danish Embassy in Athens in cooperation with SKAI TV and Kathimerini newspaper. The conference was opened with key note speeches from the Danish Minister for the Environment and official representatives of the Greek government.
Following the plenary session a number of workshops were facilitated covering climate change, energy efficiency, green growth and water management. The conference was attended by key actors in the areas of environment and climate change including members of government, politicians, officials, NGOs, media, researchers and enterprises. In December 2009 Denmark will be hosting the UN Climate Change Conference (COP15) where a new and ambitious international agreement on how to fight global warming is to be decided. This agreement will succeed the current Kyoto Protocol. RSEnergy actively supports a sustainable development by stimulating environmental discussions and delivering photovoltaic projects.
