Athens/ Volos 22.03.2010. In the context of its environmental protection activities the boy scouts organization of Volos has today performed a reforestation event in the municipality of Iolkos. RSEnergy Hellas Solartechnik supported the event with beverages and pastry for the voluntary participants.
Apostolis Xatzigeorgiou, responsible for the local boy scouts group: “Greece is often affected by terrible forest fires. It is therefore very important to set the right signals to the public. We are very pleased that RSEnergy one more time supports voluntarism and our strive for a cleaner environment.“
During the event 300 trees were planted, that will neutralize about 150 tons of CO2 emissions.
